Producer Price Index for Lumber
Description
PPI or Producer Price Index (also known as wholesale price index) for lumber. PPI data is normalized with price for 1982 = 100. The PPI value presented here is the average of the monthly value for each year. Includes the following:
- softwood lumber
- softwood cut stock and dimension
- softwood lumber, not edge worked
- softwood rough lumber, not edge worked
- softwood dressed lumber, less than 2 inches in nominal thickness, not edge worked
- softwood dressed 2-inch lumber, 2 inches in nominal thickness only, not edge worked
- softwood dressed lumber and timbers, more than 2 inches in nominal thickness, not edge worked
- softwood lumber, made from purchased lumber
- hardwood lumber
- hardwood cut stock and dimension
- hardwood flooring
- oak and maple hardwood flooring
- hardwood flooring, other than oak and maple
- hardwood lumber, not edge worked
- hardwood lumber, made from purchased lumber
