Description
PPI or Producer Price Index (also known as wholesale price index) for paints and allied products. PPI data is normalized with price for 1982 = 100. The PPI value presented here is the average of the monthly value for each year. Includes the following:
- prepared paint
- architectural coatings
- exterior architectural coatings
- interior architectural coatings
- oem finishes excluding marine coatings
- transportation finishes, except powdered and high-solids coatings
- all other product finishes for original equipment manufacturers (oem), excluding marine coating
- special purpose coatings, incl. marine, industrial & construction coatings
- automotive, other transportation and machinery refinish paints and enamels, including primers
- special purpose coatings, including all marine coatings and traffic marking paints
- paint materials
- paint colors
- iron oxide pigments
- titanium pigments
