Deaths due to Chlamydia in the US, 1996 - 2014

Description

District of Columbia had the highest death rate in the US due to Chlamydia between 1996 and 2014 of 758 deaths per 100,000 population, followed by Alaska at 600 deaths and Mississippi at 570 deaths. States with the lowest death rates due to Chlamydia were New Hampshire at 149 deaths, Maine at 166 deaths and Vermont at 172 deaths. The US average for the same period was 341 deaths per 100,000, and deaths rate for the other STDs: 115 for Gonorrhea and 4 deaths for Syphillis.
