Deaths due to Gonorrhea in the US, 1996 - 2014

Description

District of Columbia had the highest death rate in the US due to Gonorrhea between 1996 and 2014 of 478 deaths per 100,000 population, followed by Mississippi at 258 deaths and Louisiana at 234 deaths. States with the lowest death rates due to Gonorrhea were New Hampshire, Vermont and Idaho at 11 deaths each. The nationwide average for death rate for STDs for the same period were: 341 for Chlamydia, 115 for Gonorrhea and 4 for Syphillis.
