Description
Canada is the leader of sustainable freight transporation by rail with 68% compared to other modes of transporation, followed by Latvia at 61% and Russian at 59%. As seen from the histogram below, most countries fall in the range of 20-30% (7 countries) and 40-50% (6 countries). These numbers are for countries transporting over 10 million tonnes of freight by rail each year.
